Made in Taiwan, the JEP1120 is tuned in B♭. Its bore, with a diameter of 0.59-0.66 inches (approximately 15-16.80 mm), ensures precise response and optimal ease of play. The 12.2-inch (approximately 310 mm) yellow brass bell contributes to a powerful and warm sound projection. The body, leadpipe, and pistons are also made of yellow brass, offering a rich and balanced tonality.

The JEP1120 is equipped with 3+1 stainless steel pistons, ensuring increased durability and smooth action. The compensated system allows for improved accuracy across all ranges. Additionally, a strap hook is present for optimal comfort during long playing sessions.
